Assembling the Face Frame

Start by adding a drop of glue to each pilot hole in one piece of the face frame and inserting the provided dowels into each hole. Once there is a dowel in each hole, line up the other face frames holes with the dowels and connect the two pieces firmly.

Installing the Bottom Panel

To install the base panel, add a bead of wood glue to the dado on the bottom side of the face frame. Set the face frame so that the door opening is face down and slide the angled portion of the panel into the dado. Once in place, add the provided screws and brackets to provide additional strength and stability.

Installing Side Panels

Starting with the left panel, place the panel on the face frame and line the dado on the side panel up with the edge of the bottom panel. After the panel is seated, lower the entire fixture onto the side panel, to apply a downward force on the panel and aid in assembly. Once again, attach the side panel to the face frame using the provided screws and brackets. Do the same for attaching the side panel to the bottom panel. For the right-side panel, we recommend you install the brackets and screws on the side panel before adding the panel to the fixture. This will provide a bit of stability and minimize the free-hanging time for the panel while you attach it in the same way that you did the left panel.

Installing Back Panels

Now that both of your side panels are attached, you can begin to install the back panels. Starting with the left-back panel, align it with the dado on the side and bottom panels and attach it using brackets and screws. Start with attaching the bottom and back left panel, followed by attaching the left side panel to the back-left panel. This is most easily done by placing the fixture so that the left side panel faces down. Before installing the other back side panel, attach the connecting strip to the top of the face frame at the joint using two brackets.

Once complete, you may install the right back panel just as you did the left back panel with one exception. Do not attach the right panel to the right-back panel before putting the final back panel into place. After the center back panel is in place, you may attach the back right panel to the right-side panel and attach the center back panel to the face frame using the connecting strip. The center back panel should also be attached using additional screws through the pre-drilled holes in the left and right back side panels.

Installing Toe Kick

Toe kick assembly is very simple. Attach the two pieces using dowels and a one-inch screw, no glue needed. Once assembled, attach the assembly to the side panels using brackets. This is most easily done by attaching the brackets to the side panels and then attaching the toe kick to the brackets from the outside.

Final Touches

You’re almost there, just a few finishing touches. Installing your shelf is easy, simply attach the shelf clips to the pilot holes in the side panels at your desired height and insert the shelf from the top of the cabinet. Once your shelf is in place, install the four corner blocks into each of the unoccupied corners on the top side of the cabinet.

Lastly, the assembly and installation of your doors. Start by attaching the hinge cups to the backside door. The larger hinges are used for attaching the doors to the cabinet, and the smaller hinges are for attaching the doors. Align the door-to-frame hinge with the pre-drilled holes on the left-hand side of the face frame and attach the door assembly to the face frame with screws. Add door bumpers to the top and bottom corners of your doors and you are finished!
