Assembling the Cabinet Box

Begin by setting the face frame of the cabinet face down on the unfolded cardboard box. Run a line of glue down the lengths of the dado joints on each side of the face frame. Attach brackets to each side of the inside of the face frame at the top, bottom, and middle pre-drilled points. Once the brackets are secured, set the side panels in place by putting the corresponding panel into the dado and attaching it with the same brackets.

Installing Inner Panels

Install a single bracket for the top and bottom dado joints on the back of the face frame. In addition, install two brackets on the inside of the side panels for each of the three inner panels (totaling six additional brackets). These brackets will be used for securing the inner panels to the cabinet box and will provide additional strength to the dado joints. Begin by sliding each panel into place, lightly tapping with a mallet to make sure that the panel seats properly, and joining the side panels to the inner panels with the brackets you just installed.

Installing Back Panel

Attach two brackets to the underside of the middle inner panel, and two more brackets to the top of the top panel. Once in place, lay the back panel on top of the inner panels so that the dados on the back panel align with the inner panels. Attach the back panels with one-inch screws through the pre-drilled holes towards the top and bottom of the back panel.

Installing Doors

Start by attaching your hinges to your doors. The round part of the hinge should fit in the hinge cup on the door and it can easily be attached using the provided flat Philips head screws and the pre-drilled holes on the door. Once all of your hinges are attached, it's as simple as locating the pre-drilled holes on the face frame of the cabinet and attaching the hinges with the rounded Philips head screws. Add bumpers to the corners of your doors to protect your face frame from accidental damage.

Installing Drawer Boxes

With the drawer boxes flipped upside down, attach the left and right clips to the bottom of the drawer box using the provided screws. Once your clips are on your drawer box, you can move on to installing the drawer glides on the cabinet box. Locate the pre-drilled holes on the face frame where your glides should be installed. Extend your glides toward the back of the cabinet and screw them in place. Depending on the cabinet, there may be supports that should be installed into the back panel of the cabinet the glides will rest on, so be sure to consult your instructions. Once your glides are in place, you should be able to extend them out and install your drawer on them by simply sliding them on until you hear the clips latch into place.

Final Touches

Once your cabinet is all put together you can easily install any hardware you have chosen for your cabinets, however, this can also be done before installing your doors and drawers. After your hardware is installed, your cabinet is finished and ready for installation.
